in the district. There are 50 Unit 1 DBUR
positions because Unit 1 employees work in all
50 districts.

1:2000 employees with a minimum of 2 per
class group.

happens next with this proposal? How will it

In March, Unit 1 members will have the
opportunity to review and provide input
through worksite meetings, area-wide
meetings at the Union’s offices and through
online survey.

In early April, Unit 1’s Statewide
Bargaining Advisory Committee will meet to
review all input and make recommendations to
SEIU Local 1000’s Council
-
In April, Local 1000’s Council will
review the full proposal and vote to approve
or reject.
-
If approved by Local 1000’s Council,
elections will take place in May and June
and elected CBURs will be seated by June
30th so they can participate in this year’s
contract negotiations.
